Penny Turns 3!

Our little Penny Rose turned 3 on Saturday. She had a fun day going to Grandma Musser's for an Easter egg hunt and egg coloring. Then we had a party for her with cousins there. Penny's a sweety who likes to laugh and play games and dance. She's good at riding a scooter. She likes to wear her backpack and carry her llama in it. Her ball llama is her favorite companion. Penny is good at matching games and even helps me find my matches. She can focus on big puzzles and do them by herself. She loves to be tickled and play go-fish. She's very acrobatic and adventurous. She's also very confident climbing and doing jungle gyms.  Penny's good at keeping Paul company when the older girls are at school. She usually watches Paul do his pre-school on the computer. She loves nursery too. She was so excited to get her very own 'helpful sticker chart' now that's she's 3. We love you Penny! Click for more pics!

It will be nice to get outside for a while with these 4 crazy kids. The kids have been busy these days playing games. Matching games were popular for a while especially with the temple matching cards. Kahlan invented a new way to play called 'labory' (labrynth + memory) where each player starts with their own stack of target matches. Juniper also has her own unique version of matching involving row shuffling. Paul has half the cards memorized by the back side so it's hard to beat him. Paul and Penny do puzzles each morning often together. Go-fish has been a favorite too with the fish cards and the prophet cards. The older girls and Paul have been getting into Bloons TD6 too (computer tower defense). The older girls have had a few playdates. We still watch Little House o
